Totally Driven, released in 1996, is a compilation album by British rock band Uriah Heep, not a studio release. The album serves as a comprehensive retrospective of the band’s long and diverse career, bringing together material from multiple eras and lineups, spanning the early 1970s through the mid 1990s.
The lineup for Raging Silence features Mick Box (guitar), Bernie Shaw (vocals), Phil Lanzon (keyboards), Trevor Bolder (bass), and Lee Kerslake (drums). This formation successfully blended Uriah Heep’s classic melodic sensibility with a modernized hard rock sound, reconnecting the band with its roots while embracing contemporary production.
The album features Peter Goalby on lead vocals, marking his last studio appearance with the band, alongside founding guitarist Mick Box.
