Peter Frampton is an English musician, singer, and songwriter best known for his work as a guitarist and vocalist with the rock band Humble Pie and as a solo artist. He was born on April 22, 1950, in Beckenham, Kent, England, and began his career as a member of the band the Herd. He later joined Humble Pie and played on a number of their most successful albums, including “Performance Rockin’ the Fillmore,” which featured live recordings from their concerts at the Fillmore East in New York.
As a solo artist, Frampton released a number of successful albums in the 1970s, including “Wind of Change,” “Somethin’s Happening,” and “Frampton Comes Alive!”, which became one of the best-selling live albums of all time. He is known for his distinctive guitar playing style, which involves the use of talk box and fingerpicking, and for his hit songs “Show Me the Way,” “Baby, I Love Your Way,” and “Do You Feel Like We Do.” In addition to his work as a musician, Frampton is also a philanthropist and has supported a number of charitable causes over the years.
Romy Schneider was a German-Austrian actress who was active in the 1950s and 1960s. She was born in Vienna, Austria, in 1938 and began her acting career at a young age. Schneider appeared in a number of films in Germany and Austria before gaining international fame for her role as Empress Elisabeth of Austria in the film “Sissi” (1955). She went on to star in a number of films in Europe and Hollywood, including “The Pedestrian” (1973), “The Assassination of Trotsky” (1972), and “Ludwig” (1973). Schneider was also well known for her personal relationships and her tumultuous private life, which was often the subject of media attention. She passed away in 1982 at the age of 43.
