Wicca and Witchcraft are often used interchangeably, but they have distinct differences. Wicca is a modern pagan, witchcraft-based religion that was created in the 1940s by Gerald Gardner. It is based on the worship of the goddess and god, as well as the veneration of nature. Wiccans believe in the concept of karma and the Wiccan Rede, which states "An it harm none, do what ye will." They also follow a set of ethical guidelines known as the Wiccan laws.
