Juan Luis Londoño Arias (born January 28, 1994), known professionally as Maluma, is a Colombian singer, songwriter, and actor signed to Sony Music Colombia, Sony Latin, and Fox Music. Born and raised in Medellín, Colombia, Maluma developed an early passion for music while also being deeply involved in sports, particularly football. His stage name is a combination of the first syllables of the names of his mother ( Marlli), father ( Luis), and sister ( Manuela), reflecting his close family ties.

Shakira Isabel Mebarak Ripoll, born on February 2, 1977, is a Colombian singer, songwriter, dancer, record producer, businesswoman, and philanthropist. Born and raised in Barranquilla, Colombia, she is the only child of William Mebarak Chadid, a writer of Lebanese descent, and Nidia Ripoll Torrado. From an early age, Shakira displayed exceptional artistic talent, writing her first song at eight and signing her first recording contract with Sony Music Colombia at just 13 years old.
