Alice Cooper is an American singer, songwriter, and performer, widely regarded as a pioneer of shock rock and one of the most influential figures in the history of hard rock and heavy metal. Born Vincent Damon Furnier on February 4, 1948, in Detroit, Michigan, he built a legendary career by combining theatrical horror imagery with hard hitting rock music, redefining what a live rock performance could be.
