Naiads

Naiads, often seen as benevolent freshwater nymphs, also have darker narratives in Greek mythology. Tales like that of Hylas, who was lured to his doom by their beauty, and Narcissus, who fell victim to his own reflection, illustrate their seductive and dangerous nature. These stories highlight that even enchanting beings can possess a vengeful side, capable of causing harm when disrespected.
