“The Longship’s Oath” is a song about honor, vengeance, and the indomitable spirit of a Viking warrior. 🌊⚔️ Inspired by the Norse sagas, these lyrics bring the perspective of a woman who lost her family to invaders and now swears vengeance upon the open sea. The idea was to create an epic hymn that could be sung as rowers press forward into battle — a sacred oath among warriors, sealed by the ocean and by blood. Steel in my veins, fire in my eyes
I swore by the gods, by the waves, by the sky
No chains shall bind me, no fear shall rise

Oars strike the sea, hearts burn with wrath
We sail for the fallen, we carve our path

By blood, by steel, by the old gods’ might! ⚔️
We ride the storm, we burn the night! 🔥
No man shall break the warrior’s vow
The longship sails, I take my bow!
