Rose Tattoo is a rock band from Sydney, Australia, formed in 1976. The band's original lineup consisted of lead vocalist Angry Anderson, guitarists Pete Wells and Mick Cocks, bassist Ian Rilen, and drummer Dallas "Digger" Royall. They are known for their rough, blues-influenced sound and for Anderson's distinctive gravelly voice. Rose Tattoo's music has been described as a mix of hard rock, blues, and pub rock. They gained a reputation as a live act and were known for their energetic and often wild performances. The band's debut album, "Rose Tattoo," was released in 1978 and included their hit single "Bad Boy for Love."
