Leaves’ Eyes is a German-Norwegian symphonic metal band from Stavanger, Norway and Ludwigsburg, Germany. The band was formed in 2003 by Liv Kristine, the former lead vocalist of Theatre of Tragedy and the entire line-up of Atrocity.
Leaves’ Eyes music is characterized by the use of both clean vocals, sung by Liv Kristine, and death growls, performed by Alexander Krull. They incorporate elements of folk music into their symphonic metal sound, drawing inspiration from Norse mythology and Scandinavian folk tales.
The band has released eight studio albums, and their most recent album “The Last Viking” was released in 2020. The band also have several hit songs such as ‘Elegy’ and ‘Fading Earth’. They have also toured and performed in several European countries and in America.
