This song is inspired by Tethys, a primordial Titaness of Greek mythology and the embodiment of the nourishing, life-giving waters of the world. As the wife of Oceanus and the mother of rivers and ocean nymphs, Tethys represents quiet, eternal strength — a goddess who shaped creation through care rather than conquest. “Tethys, Mother of Rivers” honors her hidden power and maternal grace, giving voice to a figure often overshadowed, yet ever-present in the flow of life.
