Time moves on, but I remain.

I’m cursed to watch their stories fold.

Oh, the years fall like the autumn leaves,
One by one, they slip from me.
A lonely soul in endless night,
Crying out to the fading light.

I’ve traced their names on frozen windows,
Carved their words into the stone.
But time erases every memory,
And leaves me standing here alone.

I kiss their lips, I taste their tears,
Yet love can’t last a thousand years.
No hand to hold, no eyes to see,
Just ghosts that whisper back to me.
