Estrie, also known as Estries, Strix or Estry, are creatures from European folklore and mythology. They are said to be a type of female vampire or demonic witch, with the ability to transform into a bird of prey or a winged beast. In some legends, Estries are said to be descendants of Lilith, the legendary first wife of Adam, who was cast out of the Garden of Eden and became a demon.
